TV Screenshots (Analog & Digital)

This page has all of my analog and digital (DTV) television screenshots received in Woodbridge, VA between 1999 to the present. New screenshots from DTV television stations are added here as they are received. Click here to see posts with screenshots added by date.

All images are taken off-air from the station’s broadcast and may not be from the station’s first logging.  Most stations shown below represent DX reception and cannot be received at all times.

For DTV stations, the station’s actual RF channel is likely different from the channel number seen in the screenshot due to the use of virtual channel mapping.  In all instances, I list stations in order by actual RF channel, with the virtual channel noted afterward.  Due to the fact that many stations have resided on different channel numbers before, during, and after the 2009 DTV transition, you will likely find the same station photographed multiple times on each RF channel it was received from below.  I typically don’t include subchannels in the gallery below, but will if the subchannel airs a different major network (i.e. DTV 5.1 airs FOX, while 5.2 airs CW) or has something interesting to show.

Equipment used:
1999-2009: various handheld analog TVs and digital camera
2004-2006: Hauppauge Win TV-D
2007-2008: Samsung LN-T4042H HDTV and digital camera
2013-present: Zenith DTT-901 converter box, Star Tech SVID2USB2 video capture cable
