On June 7, I wrote about my new logging of Washington, DC’s 104.7 W284CQ translator. While the signal is very weak and is easily overcome by tropo or sporadic E at my home, I received an RDS decode from the station for the first time while in Oxon Hill, MD, on July 3. Interestingly, the translator’s RDS was displaying what appears to be hex code (the hex code displayed in the RDS translates to the web color “tea green.”) It changed multiple times over a few songs. My HD Radio/RDS Screenshots page has been updated with this new screenshot.
