92.7 KZDR Kindred, ND, “92-7 The Drive” – classic hits, 1127 miles over local WWXT
The rest of this post was as originally reported before the late night FM Es opening.
An early afternoon Sporadic E opening–an anomaly in the 2014 FM Es season–brought in signals into the Canadian Maritimes. Unfortunately, I missed the entire opening. While monitoring 90.3 and 92.7 FM via unattended recordings, FM Es first appeared on 92.7 at 12:57 p.m. It lasted until 2:11 p.m., or at least 74 minutes. Thankfully, I logged one new FM station, WOXO out of Maine, at a rare <600 mile distance. My DX Log and Audio Files pages have been updated to reflect the information below.
92.7 CJEM Edmundston, NB, “CJEM” – french AC, 749 miles
