Es opening 7/11/13. 1 new FM log.

new-post-fmesI missed most of what seemed to be a big FM Es opening in Northern Virginia on July 11.  Based on unattended recordings on 101.3 FM, KMCO from Oklahoma and new log WHLG from Florida were in about 10 minutes total throughout the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. hours.  I was able to DX starting at 3:15 p.m. and noted FM up to 92.1 FM into Texas and Oklahoma.  The Es left at 3:41 p.m., after being in FM at least 36 minutes cumulative with a MUF of at least 101.3 FM.  My DX Log has been updated with today’s new log and the audio file has been added to the Audio section.
