E-Skip and Tropo opening 6/20/11. 2 new logs.

June 20 was a mixed bag with DXing here in Northern Virginia. I was  unable to DX what seemed to be (according to WTFDA email list messages) a fairly good opening.  However, I did make up for the lack of being able to DX the Es with logging two new stations heard in my car radio via tropo near my home — one being a nearby 30-watt translator!

New logs:
90.5 WCRH Williamsport, MD, 67 miles (while in car), 6:50 p.m., “WCRH 90.5 The Compass” – religious, over local WJYJ91.7 W219DL Warrenton, VA, 20 miles (while in car), 6:50 p.m. “Victory FM” – religious, //WRVL 88.3 Roanoke, VA.

The following signals were in via Es today, all heard on unattended recordings:
91.7 KKXT Dallas, TX, 1180mi
97.7 KICM Healdton, OK, 1157mi
97.7 KNBB Dubach, LA, 608mi
